Lounging at Palazzo Pitti

Tuesday was cold, but sunny, and we ventured out for a little lunch treat (Gustapanino) followed by relaxing in the sun in front of Palazzo Pitti. I can't wait for the days when we can lounge out there without jackets and scarves! On the way back home we decided to use our 2012 Amici Degli Uffizi cards for the first time and walked back to the apartment through Boboli Gardens. It was so empty and peaceful.

Palazzo Strozzi is one of many gorgeous (and formidable) buildings in the center of town. The amazing thing about most palazzi is how open and welcoming they are on the inside in comparison to their tough exteriors. So beautiful.
