I'm not trying to make you all jealous or anything, but the weather in Florence has been heaven lately. It's that perfect spring weather -- 70 degrees, sunny, with a slight breeze. We've been eating at least one meal a day outside and it's such a nice way to decompress from busy days of work!
P.S. The "dirt" photo is actually basil that we just planted 7 days ago already starting to grow!
Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 11:50AM lunch | in Food, Living in Italy Earlier in the week we made a delicious and fast lunch with some leftovers from the previous night's meal. We sliced up some ciabatta and topped it with sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, prosciutto and a pinch of salt.
The preparations went well until we had to figure out how to use the oven. It took some serious brain power between Rob and Winston, but eventually they figured it all out.
So yummy!
