The photos we posted on Wednesday were mostly from our pre-lunch walk around Acone. The real hiking was done after lunch. It's been a while since we've been on a good hike and it was a blast. The view from the top was fantastic.

This weekend some of our friends invited us out for a hike in the hills/mountains of Tuscany. Holy cow, was it absolutely freakin' beautiful. It felt good to get fresh air, eat some AMAZING food, and hang out with great company. These are just a few of our photos form the hike...more to come tomorrow!
Rob and I have been so wrapped up in work that we're just now getting to start to enjoy our weekends. It feels good (and well deserved). This little trip to the country was a nice kick in the butt to start exploring the towns around Florence.
